CAD/BIM Detailer (Richmond, Virginia) Position Overview:
The CAD/BIM Detailer (Richmond, Virginia) will assist in the day-to-day drawing layout, drawing detailing, project browser organization, and drawing plotting of data center construction projects.
Remote work may be an option in this role. Please inquire.
CAD/BIM Detailer Responsibilities:
- Coordination and detailing in 3D electrical systems with other trades/installations using AutoCAD, Trimble, Navisworks, and Revit software for prefabrication and installation.
- Creates, plots, and distributes 2D prefabrication and installation drawings.
- Layout of points on site used for installation utilizing a Trimble Robotic Total Station.
- Communicates with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure notification of all discrepancies.
CAD/BIM Detailer Qualifications:
- Experience using computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Electrical field experience highly desired.
- Data center experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills including email, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Attention to extreme detail is required.
