Senior Electrical Project Manager (Dallas, Texas) Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Project Manager (Dallas, Texas) who will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout. This leadership role requires deep knowledge of electrical systems, a commitment to schedule and budget control, and the ability to lead field and office teams with confidence.
Senior Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities
- Manage multiple electrical projects ranging in size across industrial and commercial sectors.
- Oversee preconstruction planning, estimating support, scope development, and client communications.
- Coordinate closely with field supervision, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and safety.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, material procurement, manpower needs, and change orders.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and complete, including submittals, RFIs, logs, and progress reports.
- Lead project meetings with clients, general contractors, and internal teams.
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and project engineers.
Senior Electrical Project Manager Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical project management.
- Proven experience managing projects in industrial, heavy commercial, or large-scale commercial environments.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license (a plus)
- Design-build or design-assist experience
- Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and construction safety protocols.
- Skilled in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience also considered.
