Mechanical Superintendent (Phoenix, Arizona) Position Overview:

The Mechanical Superintendent (Phoenix, Arizona) is responsible for coordinating activities related to a construction project on job site, supervising field personnel required to complete work ahead of schedule, within budget and within specifications.

Mechanical Superintendent Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and mentoring field personnel
  • Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and GC
  • Coordinating all manpower and materials
  • Implementing and monitoring the construction plan; including scheduling and logistics
  • Monitoring job costing, quality reporting, forecasting, and productivity


Mechanical Superintendent Qualifications:

  • At least 10  years of experience managing crews and running multi-million dollar construction projects (commercial, multifamily, senior living, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems that typically include small tonnage DX split AC systems, individual vent systems, and fresh air ventilation but also include VRF AC systems, Aquatherm heating systems, and commercial water source heat pump systems.
  • Preferred experience as an active Mechanical (HVAC) or Relative with capability of acquiring HVAC licenses.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Stable employment history.


Mechanical Superintendent Compensation:
