Electrical Superintendent – Multifamily (Raleigh, North Carolina) Position Overview:
The Electrical Superintendent – Multifamily (Raleigh, North Carolina) will oversee the planning and installation of multifamily electrical construction projects within budget, schedule, and specifications.
Electrical Superintendent Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise electrical teams, including electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
- Plan and schedule electrical work to align with overall construction project timelines.
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor progress to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
- Order materials and equipment, ensuring their timely arrival at the job site.
- Inspect electrical installations to ensure quality control and code compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, labor, materials, and project timelines.
- Prepare and submit reports on project status, manpower, and any incidents or delays.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project managers to provide updates and address concerns.
- Attend project meetings and provide input on electrical requirements and progress.
Electrical Superintendent Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Active journeyman or master electrical license preferred.
- Multifamily experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
