Senior Electrical Project Manager (Princeton, New Jersey) Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Project Manager (Princeton, New Jersey) to oversee complex electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Senior Electrical Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns or changes in scope.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and manage financial resources to ensure project profitability.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, financial status, and any issues that may arise.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.


Senior Electrical Project Manager Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects successfully.  Institutional experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
